What's the performance impact of tCell's agents?

Load: Less than 4% of CPU and memory.

Response times and end user performance: Negligible.

tCell's server agents are designed to be very lightweight. Their principle function is to collect log data, sanitize it and send it asynchronously to the tCell service.

The agents can also affect behavior by executing lightweight policies. These policies are evaluated at a small number of points and always done in memory. They do not slow response times in any measurable way.

tCell's JavaScript based browser agent runs in the background, monitoring the DOM. It only runs after the page has executed and sends events asynchronously. Download size is about 48.5 kb and is cached by the browser.
